I also think that Suzuki Equator is not popular in US. But it is very popular in some Asian countries. It is popular for its off-road ability and stylist look.
I have a friend who is having one. He is not happy with the narrow cabin.
The Equator arguably looks better than the Frontier. It is very comfortable and heavy duty.
I think it is now bit popular in US.
